Country Roads Quilt

I made this quilt (45x64) 3 months after my dear Ray passed away in March 2009. The pretty colors of purple-blue flowers with green-gold background and dark-green for the roads are very calming. For years Ray appreciated beautiful quilts and encouraged me to learn to make quilts. I truely believe that quilting is wonderful healing process. A necessary step in my art journey to deal with the lost of my beloved husband of 32 years.
